‘Enough of this’: Hamas co-founder’s son speaks out

Sky News Australia host Piers Morgan has spoken to an ex-Hamas insider who became a spy for Israel in the late 1990s. Mosab Hassan Yousef is the eldest son of Hamas co-founder Sheikh Hassan Yousef. “Since I was a child, I asked my father many questions about Hamas delusions, about their brutality, about their abuse of power, and he always justified their position,” Mosab Hassan Yousef said. “Then I was imprisoned with Hamas. I spent about 27 months in Israeli prisons where Hamas was torturing their own members … within Israel prisons. They killed and tortured hundreds of prisoners. “This is when I started asking myself the question: what if Hamas becomes the ruler at some point, what will they do to our people?” Mr Yousef said that when Hamas became the ruler of Gaza, their brutality didn’t surprise him. “This is my message: an ex-Hamas member, as a son of one of Hamas’ founders, enough of this. If we don’t stop them now, the next war is going to be deadlier and only God knows what will happen next if Hamas is not finished as soon as possible,” Mr Yousef said. “They opened the gates of hell on the Palestinian people. “They are willing to actually sacrifice many Palestinian children, the entire Palestinian people and use them as fuel to … achieve their ideological agendas, their religious agendas.”

In early October, Afshin Javid was visiting Israel with his ministry Cyrus Call, which promotes friendship between Persians and Jews. But like millions of others, he found himself in the middle of a war when Hamas launched a bloody attack on Oct. 7. As a former Hezbollah fighter, Afshin himself is no stranger to violence. He sat down with CBN News to tell his story. "I was on my way to the United States to convert Christians to Islam, and I had 30 illegal passports at that time. I was arrested and put in jail in Malaysia. I was a dedicated Muslim who not only prayed the prayers, but I read the Koran once every ten days cover to cover. Israeli official emotional over death of Filipina nurse | ABS-CBN News

An Israeli official turned emotional as she paid tribute to Filipino workers in the country, after a Filipino nurse was killed in the conflict between Israel and the militant group Hamas. Deputy Mayor of Jerusalem Fleur Hassan-Nahoum earlier said that the nurse, Angelyn Aguirre, had refused to leave her elderly patient Nira despite "a chance to flee the Hamas terror attacks." In an interview with ABS-CBN News on Thursday, October 12, Hassan-Nahoum held back tears as she described the contributions of the Filipino community in Israel, relating that her own mother was taken care of by Filipino nurses.
