1. iPad 2 uses a new A5 dual-core processor while iPad uses A4 single core processor which is twice as fast as previous iPad and the graphics performance is 9 times faster .

2. iPad 2 is 33% thinner and lighter than iPad . Its just 1.3 pounds than 1.5 pound previous iPad . This gives iPad 2 a slim and sexy look .

3. iPad 2 offers dual cameras so you can use it for video conferencing and still photography. Previous iPad doesn’t offer this features

4. iPad 2 has HDMI capability which allows iPad 2 to be connected to a flat-screen TV so whatever you’re seeing on your iPad can be viewed on a big screen. Again this is not in iPad 1

5. iPad runs on iOS 3.2 while iPad 2 runs on iOS 4.3 which gives you a better multimedia experience
